The manuscript must be submitted to the editorial board of Národopisná revue in both a complete and an anonymized version.
The full version is the study in the form in which it is to be published. In addition to the main text, it must contain the aforementioned Czech or English abstract, keywords, the author’s contact address, the author’s profile according to the template provided below, and an alphabetical list of the literature cited. Bibliographic references must be complete and comply with the standards of Národopisná revue.
Anonymization means that the version intended for peer review meets the following criteria:
- the text is absolutely identical to the full version;
- the author’s name, institutional affiliation, contact address, and author profile have been removed;
- references to grants and other forms of support that could make it possible to identify the author have been removed;
- if the author refers to their own works, the references must be formulated in such a way as to prevent identification; if the author cites a large number of their own publications, their number in the anonymized version should be limited to a maximum of 3; self-citation should be used sparingly and considered carefully.
- any other formulations that could make it possible to identify the author have been removed or modified (e.g. “Note X.Y.” should be replaced with “Author’s note”). If deletion would disrupt the coherence of the text, an explanatory note should be added (e.g. “XXX – deleted during anonymization”).
